Attendance Events



Attendance events in TAA are part of a points-based system you can use to measure employee performance, based on attendance and policy compliance. You can associate attendance events with absences (such as "Absent Without Calling In"), tardiness, leaving work early, and other infractions.


You can track and enter these events in TAA using the Attendance Events submenu. Click Attendance Events on the left menu to see the following options:



Note: You create the attendance events on the Admin ›› Attendance Events screen. When doing so, you assign the point values to each event. The worse the violation, the higher the point value you assign. You can also define a point threshold based on a rolling total or from a designated date, on the Admin ›› System Settings Attendance tab. Many organizations include what the consequences will be if the employee reaches the threshold in their employee manual, such as a write-up or termination.
